Jo Lual Acuil was the best scorer of the day in the world yesterday with the 42 points he had in Ahly Benghazi

42 points scored by 30 year old South Sudanese center Jo Lual Acuil made him the highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team Ahly Benghazi beat the City Oilers 110 to 78. He also grabbed 11 rebounds that game. Lual Acuil is the best scorer in the league averaging 23 points and 10 rebounds per game.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and of course North America), in six different countries. He has played previously professionally in Australia (United), China (Monkey Kings), Hungary (Atomeromu), Israel (Hapoel Jerusalem and Galil Elion), Lebanon (Dynamo), and NBA Summer League (Phoenix Suns).
His team won the Australian NBL Regular Season in 2021, 2022 and 2024. He was Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL Center of the Year and the Australiabasket.com Australian NBL All-Domestic Players Team award in 2022 and 2024.
